Chris is a physiotherapist with over 15 years of private practice experience. Chris has worked in a variety of settings during his career including sports, musculo-skeletal and occupational physiotherapy and this breadth has given him a well-rounded approach to treating all types of injuries. Chris has worked in a variety of sporting settings including Rugby Union, Hockey, Swimming and Gymnastics.
Chris has completed his APA level 1 and 2 Sports Physiotherapy qualifications.
Prior to completing his physiotherapy degree, Chris also completed a degree in Human Movement Science (aka Exercise Physiology) which gives him a strong background in exercise prescription and physical conditioning. Chris has a keen interest in continuing education that has seen him complete a number of courses since graduating including Clinical Pilates, Dry needling and Kinesio Sports Taping.
Chris has previously been a private practice clinical educator for the University of Queensland, helping to train and develop the future of the profession.
Away from the clinic, Chris enjoys going to the gym and he also recently completed his level 1 Olympic Weightlifting and sports power coaching certificate. In 2010, Chris completed a full 42.2km marathon and one day hopes to complete another marathon.
